Clik here to view.Business was slow this past Winter/Spring, no clients insight. So I went to Facebook late one night. I was hoping to get some inspiration or a word or two of encouragement. It wasn’t long before my chat box “rang” and up popped a VA from the other part of the world…okay, Canada, but that’s still a drive or fly from here Image may be NSFW.

We began to talk and she said, “Be your own best customer.” This is a statement I’ve heard for years! I can remember saying that to myself in my early years of being in direct sales. But to my surprise, something different took place in this old mind of mine…I decided to “be” my own client!
You see, there may be a time (or two) when you don’t have many clients, when this time appears don’t give up or walk away, take advantage of your “down time” by treating your business as if it were your “BEST” client ever!
Besides asking for referrals and publishing your testimonials, you can go through your past clients correspondence and refresh your memory with the questions they asked and the solutions you provided. Once you’ve got that information in your hand, you can do all kinds of things, such as:
- Write a press release and submit it!
- Write a blog post and ask to submit it on your niche’ forum or as a guest post
- Create a video series covering the Q & A
- Provide yourself the exact services you would provide your perfect client
The best advice I can give you is the same advice I give myself (I must say I am NOT the originator of this)…”JUST DO IT!”
There’s your marching orders, now go to it Image may be NSFW.
